| The Java applets
on this site are compiled with the Sun Java 1.5
compiler. If you have difficulty (for example, a
grey panel instead of the Java applet), try
downloading and installing the Latest Sun Java Runtime
Environment. The buoy summary and 9 band
applets now should display a scrollbar to
facilitate viewing the entire canvas. This has been
tested on Macs with the latest Java (JRE 1.5 and
JRE 1.6 for Mac OS 10.6 and later) using various
browsers and Windows systems: MSIE
8 and FireFox. There is an
apparent problem with Apple's Safari browser on the
Mac, and the best work around at this time is to
use the latest
FireFox with Mac OS X 10.4 and later with the
latest Apple Java MRJ installed. If you don't see a
scroll bar, you may need to upgrade your browser
and/or get a newer Java runtime environment. If
your applet displays are not similar to the
test examples below, please let me know what
browser you are using and the system you use (OS,
screen resolution, etc...). |
