| The Java applets on this site
are compiled with the Sun Java 1.5 compiler. If you have difficulty
(for example, a grey panel instead of the Java applet), try
downloading and installing the Latest
Sun Java Runtime Environment. The buoy summary and 9 band applets now
should display a scrollbar to facilitate viewing the entire canvas.
This has been tested on Macs with Java 2 using various browsers and
Windows systems using MSIE 6 and
Netscape. There is an apparent
problem with Safari on the Mac, and the best work around at this time
is to use FireFox
with Mac OS X 10.4 and later with the latest Apple Java MRJ installed.
If you don't see a scroll bar, you may need to upgrade your browser
and/or get a newer Java runtime environment. If your applet displays
are not similar to the test examples below, please let me know
what browser you are using and the system you use (OS, screen
resolution, etc...). |
